All of my pictures come from within my head, nothing is drawn from life, not the creatures, not the cars, not even the nudes. They are not, however, just imagination! My drawing is a combination of imagination, observation, and memory. A very great deal is memory! You have to know how things work! Everything from a steam engine to a reptile, from a human being to a kangaroo. If you know how a camel stands up or an eagle turns in flight, or a plant grows then you can do it!
